On more then one occasion my LR3 won't start. Turn the ignition...click, click, click...on come the flashers. Hmmm. Try several more times, same thing. Try again and it starts then runs fine.

The shop has been looking at it for days and can't find a problem, but suspect the BCM.

Any clues????

 

I had the exact same problem last summer with my 05 LR3. In fact, one time when I was on the highway the electrical shutdown. The engine ran fine but I had no radio, a/c, blinkers, etc. Also, lots of problems trying to start in the morning. Same symptoms that you had.
Brought it to my LR dealer and they tried a bunch of tests. Then they replaced the ignition switch and it was fine after that.
