Default 05 LR3 Possible Bad MAF Sensor

Hi All,

I have an 05 LR3 4.4L with a P0172 and P0175 codes. I'm thinking it might be coming from a worn MAF sensor. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to test and confirm mine?

Thanks In Advance

MAFs are often easy to examine visually. Pull it out and take a look at the small wires. They should be fairly clean, if there appears to be deposits you can try cleaning it with MAF spray cleaner (never touch the wires, they are fragile). If over 100k miles, probably just a good idea to replace it anyway.

The original MAF sensor is probably a Denso part, so if you do replace it you can save some money by getting the Toyota equivalent. Part number: 22204-22010
