Oem compressor finally s**t the bed. The motor seized up and the connecting was in a couple of pieces. Replaced it with the Arnott AMK unit. I swear it works better than the stock one did from the time it was new. And with the iid tool, no dealer involved.

"Arnott AMK Unit" seems like an oxymoron. I'm guessing you got the aftermarket Arnott compressor.

All good. Basically it's an amk compressor that arnott assembles here. I think they only use the amk compressor and drier. The brackets and instalation kit is their own and great instructions. The whole job took a little over an hour including the reprogramming. Now I have a check engine light to deal with. Never ends

Well...if it replaced a Hitachi I know there as a software update needed. As for the CEL, that's usually a dirty MAF or throttle body but check the codes.

Right and the iid tool does that for you. As far as the CEL it came back as bank 1 too lean. It seems to be intermittent for now so I'll wait and see.
