Hello I have received a 06 LR3 with a 4.4l that hat lots of water inside due to bad bad sunroof drains. I cleaned out all water dryed it out. Hooked up new charged battery tried to start and soon as you turn on the key the lights turn on and flashers turn on but won't turn over. I put my GAP IIDTool on and says can't find any ecm other the Instrument cluster. I checked the TCM and ECM connection. ECM connection looks good the TCM connection shows some discoloration cleaned up connection still so reading. Should I replace the tcm?

 

Do the simple stuff first. Pull the left and right door sill covers and check the splices. There is a splice on the US-passenger side that in particular causes a bunch of issues if it fails. The splices are nothing more than two wires coming together and taped, exiting as a single wire. No resistance to water penetration at all. If you had water in the sills, I would just re-solder each splice, will only take like 10-15 minutes. Good luck with it.
