I recently completed the upgrade to the AMK version of the new air compressor from Land Rover. I purchased via a popular on-line company that shares the name with the Amazon jungle. The supplier was Proper Spec/Lucky 8 for $800 and included everything including the new "box". I opted for LR kit vice others on-line like the Arnott unit. No instructions came with mine but I found the LR technical bulletin at the below link:

Follow the directions. I also you-tubed a couple videos. Pretty straight forward. The hardest part was getting the back end air hoses disconnected. Leave the old bolts in while you are trying to disconnect. Gives you more room to reach. Just like the front, push in the little collar around the hose and the hose should pull out. Back side was the most difficult.
I left the new relay out until the work was all done. The LR3 will settle once off the jacks so make sure you and anything important is not under the truck when you let it down. Once new relay is in, the compressor comes to life and raises the truck back up to normal height. Once there, pull the relay again until you get the ECU reflashed. I called an indy and for $105, they reflashed with the new AMK software and turned on my DRL/Day time running lights. I get a discount for having them on my LR3. Why all US models don't have it on....?? Make sure you give the indy the new relay to install reflash.
Took me a couple hours but it wasn't hard. I was pretty meticulous with every step so that added a lot of time. Wear goggles because a lot of debris falls when taking out old unit.
Good luck!
