2005 LR3 Newbe
Just purchased a 05' LR3 (26K)
The back tires are worn (pretty much evenly with some feathering towards inside edge). I am assuming I need to contact the nearest LR dealer and ask for the suspension fix consistent with the Tech Bullietins?
Also, I noticed upon starting the vehicle air compressor runs and the height adjusts (upward 1" or so). When turned off the height adjusts downward. Is this normal? Or is it possible there is a leak?
Thanks in advance.

If you go back to the dealer have them check the suspension and the allignment, but if you allow them to put factory tires back on, you aresetting yourlself for faliure again. There are literally hundreds of posts on much better choice of tires for the LR3. Check them out and deside.
The downward adjustment on the ride height sounds fairly common when turning it off. It's adjusting the height to no longer having the weight it was carrying. However not sure I have noticed mine adjusting upward everytime I start it. But again, I'm a fairly light weight. If you are a full size man then perhaps it is normal for you.

I also have an 05 LR3. My air suspension doesn't adjust itself every time I turn the vehicle on or off, but it does do it more times than not. I'm not a big guy either, so I don't think that has anything to do with it. I wonder if it has something to with the slope of the ground where you park it and adjusting weight distribution.
