its nice to be acepted to this site. I just bought my first land rover. It's a 2003 discovery se and am discovering some problems. probley why the previous owner got rid of it. I'm trying to work the bugs out of it. check light went on and found the evap and #4 cilinder misfire need att. I found a cracked vent tube to the charcol canister so i elec tape it for a temp fix and seemed to fix that problem and found the boot and sparkplug connector corroded and seen how hard it was to replace the wire so i only replaced the boot and connector and seem to fix that problem. I plan on replaceing the wires and like to replace the tube for the evac but cant find one that wont cost me 800.00$. I still have a shimmy in the front end, think its just bad tires and replace the headliner. could use any help or advice with these problems. as you can tell I learned auto repair back in the 70s so i have a good working knolege on what to look for. my name is mike and owning a land rover is a real trip. It's great to be here and hopeing to meet the members and here their storys
