Default 2005 LR3 suspension problem

Ijust bought a 2005 LR3 SE a few weeks ago. The LR3 has about 17,000 miles on it. Just a few days ago, the suspension light went on and I had a message reading "Suspension fault, Normal height only". But now, it only says "Suspension fault" and is stuck in the access height position. Has anyone else expereinced the same problem. I have an appointment with my local dealer on Thursday morning. Does anyone have any guesses as to what it might be?

I had that problem. Turned out it was because I had bigger tires than normal and when I made a sharp turn the tires caught the suspension wiring which is attached up in the wheel well. Luckily they replaced the wiring under warranty because the tires where on the LR3 when I purchased it so I had no idea..then they just made sure the wires wouldn't get in the way again...

So that could possibly be the problem. It should be an easy fix, just a hassel!

There is a recall to up grade the pump internals as well as an ECU download that changes the target pressures to prevent unnessary warning lights.
call your dealer and request a check for open recalls on your car . all they need is the VIN
