why is the AUX so much quieter than the rest of the radio, cd, telephone, etc.??

can something be done about this?

 

what are you plugging into it? try adjusting the volume on the source you are using . if its still quiet then only half the speakers are working it can be your cable is bad (number one cause) or the jack itself sometimes go bad as well
