2006 LR3 Power Steering Pump Replacement
Hi all,
I'm about to replace my power steering pump, reservoir and hose on my 2006 LR3. Seems like a fairly straight forward job but wanted to see if anybody had any tips/tricks during this procedure? Oddly enough I can't find videos for an LR3 V8...... I'm also planning on replacing both belts while I'm in there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
TIA

I will be doing the same once my parts arrive from the UK. I am doing all my hoses except the cooler line and its last little bit of rubber hose - too expensive. This video might help but I am not sure which hose you are doing. If it is just the only rubber hose to pump and the reservoir, it is really easy and obvious. The pump is pretty easy too, one large banjo bolt and the previous mentioned rubber hose just slides on with a clamp. Removing the small black plastic splash shield and wheel well liner would help.
Thanks....I'm just doing the hose between the pump and reservoir. So sounds like it shouldn't be too bad. Luckily no leaks but I know the pump is going. Want to get it before it completely goes on me while I'm in the wrong location. HA. Thanks again
