I have added an oil temp and an oil pressure gauge to my 2007 4.4 LR3. I used an oil filter sandwich to mount the sensors and quickly realized that is a mistake. (I am chalking that up to a learning experience and not to being an idiot that should have known better) I would like to T into one or both of the factory sensor ports (circled in the picture). Is there any reason I could not or should not do this? Alternatively, any reason that I couldn't drill and tap two new ports into the housing? I appreciate any help you can give. (I should have started here in the first place)
