Adding Rear Parking Aid System? Easy? Hard? Anyone know?
So, I want to add the rear parking assist feature to my '06 v6 LR3. Anyone done this or have a source for this?
I know I need the bumper, which I'm hoping I can source from a parts car, along with the actual button. Maybe I can buy the sensor and drill out and fit it to my current bumper? I don't know.
Thoughts on this? Anyone have experience or know what parts I'll need?

You need both bumpers and different mirrors and sensors and harnesses for the bumpers, this is hoping that the truck harness is pre wired then you need the panel above the radio with park button, and after all that I have no clue how to make it work or if you will be. Missing a module
Some stuff is plug and play some is not
Rear plug if there is behind the drivers tail light
Front plug if there is in the area of the pass headlight along with the driving light plug

If he's just adding the rear, you should only need the rear bumper. And it might have spots to drill. My first 2006 only had rear sensors, but the front bumper had marks so you could drill it out and install sensors in the cover.
