If I have the Gap Diagnostic tool and can put my suspension in lock down mode, can my local shop do the alignment of my LR3 with their new laser alignment machine?

 

Local shop can do it, make sure they give you a complete print out so you can make sure they didn't just do camber. Also buy one with a lifetime alignment. Meaning you can take back and have re aligned whenever you feel like it. That way everytime you do some work you can get it done. Plus you can monitor your tire wear and bring to them if there are issues.

Make some calls. Americas tire does an alignment with 6 month warranty for $80 and change. Alignment with lifetime warranty is $120 and change.

 

Firestone does lifetime too.
