Default Anyone mod their LR3?

This site doesn't seem to have a lot of posters on it. I am looking for good aftermarket sites for land rover accessories.

thanks

Yes, I have done a rod lift with Johnson Rods. Here are some pic of others who have done the same. What other kinds of mods are you looking for?

That is a great mod, but not for the wife's car. She'd hate it. Looking more for cosmetic, such as the front protection A bar, lamp guards, side steps, etc. Wondering if there's an aftermarket company doing these vs. buying OEM parts which seem a bit pricey. $300+ just for front lamp guards? Thanks for the post. I did find a place called bputah.com that seems good but those are still OEM LR parts.

A bars are only land rover. The entire bumper can be replaced with a larger heavier unit that fits a winch.

OEM fits right and if you don't like the prices of accessory parts wait till you see the price of our regular parts. The vehicle goes for 40 grand. Its no Ford or Jeep. Expect to pay high prices.

Trust me, I know. I have a BMW 750 and everything on it is pricey. But there are a lot of good places making aftermarket parts that fit well. I was just thinking the simple pieces, like the lamp guards, could easily be made aftermarket and fit well. They aren't very technical pieces. The A bars, I understand there would be no aftermarket and I wouldn't buy one anyway for that. I love that A bar look. Thanks for the input .

lamp guards you aint finding aftermarket. With lamps being completely different depending on year its even difficult on older ones.
