Default Anyone using the Curt aftermarket trailer hitch?

I saw it on ebay for $135 which is about the price of a normal receiver hitch.

The factory hitch is just ridiculously priced.

Yes- I'm using the Curt from ebay. It did take a little time to install (roughly an hour) but it was well worth it.

Installation went well. I tested it out last weekend pulling my 2000lb boat (200 lb tongue). It performed swimmingly.

Default wiring harness

Hey I see you are using aftermarket hitch what about the trailer wiring harness. In a couple of other forums I have read people have claimed that if an aftermarket harness is used the Land Rover will stay in Off road height until trailer is disconnected.

Do you have a picture of the rear? I can't find one anywhere.

Thanks.

Here are a couple photos of mine installed. Just camera phone shots, nothing fancy, but hopefully it helps.

Nice, I'm just about to get one too. Did one on my old Lexus GX, Curt makes good products.

I ordered one off Amazon.com for $170 with next day shipping to pull a travel trailer, 3way campers in Marietta, GA put a curt hitch on my F150 and its top notch and the one for LR3 is no different, its far better than paying a dealership $500 for the other piece.
