will the snorkel actually increase the depth of H2O i can go thru due to all the electronics on the v8 lr3 it looks like arb says not really but is that just to protect themselves

 

Not really, the body is not water tight and there are some electrical parts that won't take well to the water.
How deep are you wanting to go?

 

not shure i dont want to trash the interior but thought it might help increase the wading depth but when i read about it from arb it sounds like it is not very functional

It will help prevent wake splash from getting into the air intake for sure. I've had that happen on my Disco IIa before any electronic problems happened. Glad I had a K&N or I would have been filterless, kinda hard to shake out and dry a paper filter.

 

ya i guess it would for splash. will it increase performace or not really. also dose it affect the warranteeee?

 

The guys I know with the snorkel experienced a decrease of about 1 mpg.

 

probably just due to the aerodynamic issues. But any LR isn't really all that aerodynamic to start with...
