Default Belkin Aircast Bluetooth

Has anyone tried this product? Belkin CarAudio Connect AUX with Bluetooth F4U037tt My concern is the volume level being too low as is the case when connecting the iPod to the AUX input via the headphone jack. I really don't feel like dropping 80 bucks if I get the same results from a $10 cable.

Depends what you're trying to achieve - if it's just plugging iPod or iPhone in to get music rather than calls then trawl eBay for a Griffin AutoPilot - I picked mine up for about $5, plugs into the AUX in the back, powered in the front socket and easy to reach to control. Steering wheel controls don't work for track select but the volume has been fine.

AutoPilot - for iPod; black - Griffin Technology

Went ahead and purchased the Belkin Aircast. It works GREAT! Volume levels are normal i.e. same as the volume level from the radio and sound comes through on all speakers. The call quality is fantastic on my end but those who I have talked to say I sound a little echoy on their end. I'm using my Galaxy S3 Voice dialing doesn't work, but Pandora, Stitcher, Sirius and Google Navigation come through loud and clear.

I have the Blueant S4 which I got from work, and I'm really happy with it. I'm amazed how long it stays up on a charge.
