Default Best code reading tool to buy?

Hi, I was wondering whats the best code diagnostic and Clearing tool I could buy for my Lr3 and RR ...its very expensive to obtain fault codes and clear them at the Dealer or shop so Im thinking about buying a reasonable one that does the job ...any suggestion on which one and where to buy?
I have a "INNOVA 3100" pretty much the same tool that advance auto/autozone have ...but I think I need one for the Land Rovers that actually read and CLEAR the codes ...
I found this on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/1815390...&ul_noapp=true
or
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181873408107...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
this last one it allows to calibrate the steering angle on the vehicle??? I dont think I need this as I have a 2006 LR3 and 2007 Range Rover ..?
any thoughts?
Thanks

I don't really have to say it, but I will:

Gap Diagnostics iiD tool. It's a must-have for any late model Rover owner.

http://www.amazon.com/iCarsoft-i930-...c-Multi-System

this looks very user friendly. I honestly haven't use it but I have an other iCarsoft scanner. It's fast and simple to use. Not too many advanced functions but can do basic code reading a maintenance resets.

You seem like a pretty involved Rover owner and although it might seem like too much tool for you, I think in the long run you will appreciate its capabilities and the customer service they provide.

As my Dad says, fish or cut bait, Sh$t or get off the pot, etc. Meaning either you are a "committed" land rover owner or not. Some things are worth the extra expense.

Case in point, I was just able to read my alarm trigger history with my Autologic. Not sure if GAP does it, but I am guessing it does. I was able to isolate the problem and hopefully fix it.

$50.00

OBD II & CAN Code Reader with Multilingual Menu

It`s silly spending more than this on something you don't fix yourself.
