Default On board air compressor LR3

I would like to upgrade my 2005 LR3 HSE with an on board air compressor capable of airing tires and operating a jack and an air wrench for tire removal and installation.

Can anyone recommend a brand and model of air compressor and comment on the location of your installation?

Thank you.

Yes, our LR3 has rear climate control (and 3rd row seating). For a ham radio antenna installation we had to go to our 3rd choice location (near the fuel filler). These LR3s are packed. That is why I am seeking experienced advice.

Yeah...sorry. I have an air compressor mounted in the little cubby on the driver's side in the boot. I believe if you have 2nd row CC there are some refrigerant lines that go through there or something....I have a 5 seater with no rear CC.

Alas. I appreciate your help. I was hopeful that one of the Warn winch/compressor combinations would fit into the ARB LR3 bumper, but no such luck, so I am looking at other on board air options. Hopefully someone has a solution for a 7-passenger LR3 HSE with the rear climate control.

Do you have a 2nd battery? Plenty of room on the driver's side in the engine compartment to mount one.

I do not have a second battery. I will check that out in the daylight. Thanks for the suggestion.

If he's got / adding a winch he might want a 2nd battery though. I just throw a Viar in the boot when I need it compressor. I ran two power runs to the back with hookups, for the Ham, compressor, fridge, etc. Just kicking out more ideas..

I did not see enough room for the VIAIR tank, only for the compressor. The tank seems to be the problem.
