I also looked around for brush guards or bull bars when I first got the LR3. The OEM A bar just didn't look like it would do much to protect the front end. I didn't find much of anything, except sketchy or strange looking bars on eBay. I realized that it would compromise crash safety to have a big guard on the front and also that I would be very tempted to use it to push idiots off the road, so decided against getting one in the end.
