I agreed to 3k worth or work and it is having an issue with the coolant system which is causing them to hold up the release of the rig to me. The system won't burp and the air won't come out. It keeps spitting the coolant out of the tank. They tell me it missing the extra bleeder valve. But now it might need the radiator or water pump. So either another 600 repair or 300 repair.
I'm only telling you this so you know what can happen.
I do all my own work including major work, I understand parts are crazy expensive. If something major goes down I will proceed with my dream lSX swap.

Atlantic British

Land Rover Parts & Rover Accessories From Atlantic British | Discovery, Range Rover, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories

Not cheap but a good source.

Check out BBB here for advice on install and EPB shoes etc.

If I was to do brakes on my LR3 today, this is what I would buy:

Front
AKEBONO Part # EUR1098 Euro Ultra Premium Ceramic Pad
CENTRIC Part # 12522009 High Carbon Alloy
Rear
AKEBONO Part # EUR1099 Euro Ultra Premium Ceramic Pad
CENTRIC Part # 12522010 High Carbon Alloy

Avail from RockAuto Parts Catalog

It's what I run on any of my euro trash, be it VW, or LR.

I went for the ebc pads and drilled and slotted rotors from AB and am very happy with them. Just make sure you order the right brake pad wear sensors. They go by Vin number. CHANGE all fluids the first chance you get and don't skimp on the higher quality fluids
