Well it was due to your lack of specificity. Arnott isn't a no-name company, but they could be sold by a made-up seller. So it wasn't clear which aspect was the cause of warranties not being honored. That's why I asked, at least. I can't speak to the prior questions.

 

Why would I have to be specific when this thread is about cheap eBay struts.......... Arnott struts are not exactly cheap and not sold by others under various names. Baffled why they would even come up in this thread. Makes zero sense at all when reading this post from the start.

 

Yeah that's true but I usually look for sellers who have thousands of feedback ratings over a few years in an attempt to weed out the pop-up shops like those you're referring to
