cant seem to remove air bag/spring from strut....i removed top nut but it is stuck on good...anyone do this replacement of air bag suspension only?

 

update...anyone attempting to replace air bags only a note of caution...my rig has little over 100k miles and the air bag would not come off the old strut. i think there is a youtube video of an lr3 owner who had the same problem. do not believe the simple videos of manufacturers saying just tap the air bag off.

bottom line spent wkend grinding/cutting every part of the bag assembly to remove the bag. my recommendation buy the whole strut with air bag assembly
