Default "Check Spare Tyre Pressure"

This message popped up on start up recently. I have the full sized spare and from what I can see, there is no way to actually check the tire pressure without lowering it down. No clever tricks for this?

Sounds like you have to lower it down and check it. GAP tool can turn off all TPMS warnings however.

Neither option sounds ideal, but don't have an IID tool yet so guess I have to lower it down. Hopefully the manual does a good job of explaining the process, and I guess it is good practice and good to make sure everything is in working order in case I need it.

super simple... there is a rubber plug on the floor of the rear hatch area that hides a "nut" that you turn to lower and raise the cable attached to the rim. Always a good idea to do it occasionally and to lube it lightly for when you really need it and it's -30.

I use a truck (dually) gauge and air tap. Don't have to lower, just raise suspension and check. The dually gauge is longer and has 2 angle head to pull gauge to measure. My tap is same for filling.
