No haven't, but I will. That's a good thought.

Also you may want to inspect the main fuse. Maybe its bad with a hairline crack or has corrosion. It may have been happy just sitting there but getting moved about when you pulled the cables might have pushed it over the edge. Not super likely, but its easy to check. Its in that black box that is part of the positive terminal.

Yes! That was a fantastic idea to bypass the fuse, I redid the wiring temporarily at the positive terminal and success! She started right up, so now I am pretty confident that the fuse is bad

Hi I Aaron (dfrisckid), brand new to the foram so please forgive me if I'm asking stupid questions I'm really frustrated, I was reading the tread and my 2012 LR4 was driving fine no issues but the enigine just stopped lost all power coasted it to a parking lot. Then I had interior dashlights but no chank at all. So I replaced the battery and the and the alternator. The band new battery is installed correctly, radio and everything in the interior is working but reads low battery so I'm recharging the battery while disconnected and ran a wire between the postive cable while the battery is not connected , sitting the 20 minutes, any other suggested? Thanks, Aaron

You have an LR4, this is the LR3 forum. The systems are very different. Unlike the LR3, you have an BMS (Battery Management System). Its more complex than the LR3's "smart alternator" setup. You likely need to reset the BMS or could even need to replace it. You would have to search the LR4 forum or Google for details.
