I have a 2005 LR3 with the updated DVD from Xrover in the nav system. My compass on the 4x4 screen says unavailable all the time. When in the nav system maps the little compass pointer works but I suspect it may be tied to the GPS. Any ideas as to what's up with that?

try the off road nav, it usually loads the compass just fine, then try switching back to on-road. It may or may not work but I at least know the off-road nav one should have a working compass 24/7

 

That loaded the compass and makes it available on the 4x4 screen. Thanks a bunch.
