considering LR3 purchase
Hello everyone,
I am considering buying a used LR3 (2006 HSE) and have some questions. I read some other posts about the reliability but my volvo mechanic told me not to buy one under any circumstances. He said they were money pits and full of problems. I previously owned an 03 Disco and loved it. I know that every vehicle has its ups and downs and am aware of the costs for general maintenance but are the LR3s really that bad? I am looking for an SUV and the LR3 is the best looking one around. It seems like people either love or hate LRs. I love them but just don't want to end up with a vehicle that is nothing but problems. Any input is appreciated.

Read the "Problem" posts on the LR3 Forums then pop over to a an XC90 Forum.
If you were asking about a Freelander, that would be a different story.
