Coolant leak to engine, not head gasket?
My 2005 LR3 with 180k has a new, interesting feature. It sat for 2 weeks and when I started it, I was greeted with copious amounts of white smoke (coolant being burned) and CEL. The code reader said misfire on cylinders 1, 3, 5, and 7. Ten minutes later, I got the "low coolant" error but no rough idle, no other CEL, and normal exhaust. I topped up the reservoir with about 750ml and headed out. After driving for a hour and stopping, I could smell the coolant from the engine bay but no further "low coolant" errors.
Question is: any other places for the coolant to leak down the intake manifold or something? The DII had the cooled/heated throttle body but the only leak on those was the actual hoses external to the throttle body. I have a very difficult time believing that an entire bank blew the HG in a single go. Never been overheated since I've owned it (bought with 135k miles). I plan to do a leak-down on all the cylinders but just trying to plan ahead a bit.

Mine had white smoke (freaked my wife out), and I also worried about coolant - oil looked fine, analysis confirmed
I had other codes too though, that pointed to MAF and PCV valve
I cleaned TB, new OEM MAF sensor, and new OEM PCV valve
That was 25k miles ago - no similar issues or codes since
