Default coolant low, no leakage

hello everyone, dont know whats going on with my lr 2005...coolant been going down...it happened one time ago i drove up to park my lr3 on the upper garrage in the mall. and found an oil leakage down thought it was my transmission fluid but later got to know it was my coolant short and i topped it with water just to get home...ever since then been checking and everything was fine...after a month or so found out coolant going down. dont know why. plz any help?

Open your hood, remove your engine cover, and take a look at your hoses on top of the engine.... focus on smaller diameter hoses. On these hoses, there is a bleeder valve that his none to crack and leak. A guick google search will return a pic of the valve (it's green, I believe... small plastic thing), and many tales of this cracking. This was the source of my leak..

IF that's not it, Focus on the thermostat housing... also known to crack.

Seconded. Even if the bleeder valve is not the source, definitely replace it. The part is so cheap and it is quite prone to failure. I actually snapped mine easily in the process of swapping it out.
