Default Dash lights problem?

During the past few cold months and just recently when I go out to my lr3 and turn it on the dash lights where the speedo and tach are don't light up. Only the lights in the steering wheel and and terrain response area are on. Then upon driving for a few minutes they all kick on. Has any one else ever encountered this issue? I dont think its loose wiring. I just didnt think the cold would effect those lights. I've got a 2009 lr3 HSE. I love the truck.

Metal expands when heated. So a wiring connector pin somewhere warms up and makes contact. Finding it, or the "cold" solder joint on a printed circuit board, would take more time than you might think. Usually damage a few other things too whilst bending your body as a contortionist to get under the dash.

That said, the tech manual is available and includes wiring diagrams. Here are some of the pages.

Thanks for the info. This is the first vehicle I've owned that has done such a thing. It wasn't something I was expecting.
