Question Difference between 05 lr3 and 07 lr3

I am looking at LR3's, and was curious if there's a huge difference? Outside of packages, and what you get extra, what's the difference between the two years?

I can snag a pretty decent price on an 05 black/black with a lot of options.

Also, is there a list of options that came with the truck, and you can see what they added?

What you see is what you'll get. Internals are about the same on all LR3s.

'05s were the first year of the LR3 and were more prone to wrinkles needing to be ironed out. I think that on average, the later model years had less issues per driver mile. If the 05 you're looking at has been well serviced and all recall/TSBs done, you should be good.

05 had tow hooks in the back. Then they got cheap and eliminated them in 06. both windows went auto down in the front on an 07 but not an 05. The steering wheel memory was included in some higher models in 07. Updated telephone modules.

What do you mean No the Two itch?

side question, how are the range rover sports/HSE's for off roading and outfitting for off roading?

The 05's used to include the tow hitch receiver (even though mine was gone by the time I got it... Otherwise you can just buy that if you don't mind shelling out about 400 bucks for a hunk of metal.

The RR sport is just about as capable as the lr3 in off-road respects. Most parts are compatible across both models, but I would say there is still less options for outfitting for the sport (extra gas tanks, roof racks, etc).

actually extra tanks and roof racks are no different from both models. But you just need to buy the roof rail kit for the sport and then the crossbars are the same as the LR3. From there the roof rack is the same. The ladder is different. The tank option could work but its difficult with American cars.
