Hello, I have a problem. Recently, after a very hot weather, coolant started leaking quite heavily from my Land Rover. It does not leak when the engine is running, but only after it is turned off. It leaks from around the rear of the engine (by the bulkhead), drips onto the gearbox, and drips down both sides of the gearbox.

It's hard for me to look there because there is little space and the pipe connecting the collectors. The wires that enter the heater stubs are intact.

Does anyone have an idea what it could be leaking from? head?

 

Have you checked the coolant outlet that the rad hose connects to, they are prone to splitting and coolant could run towards the back of the engine.
What country are you in ? , 2.7 was never sold in North America .
