Default Door lock actuator

Just bought a new remote( old one wasn't working). Coded to my wife's LR3 and it works great, but the drivers door doesn't lock.

Is this a simple faulty door lock actuator? Same as a D2?

Also, does the window frame have to come out to swap it?

The window will "release" from the holder. The assembly is built in with the latch that you swap out. There is a plastic clip once you take the door panels off that gives you access.. it's in the manual I sent you. The bugger is getting the cable back on during reassembly.

definitely read that the window does not have to come out.

it sucks to have to buy a new actuator...or two.

also read that you can just replace that motor..

i bought springs cause they were cheap and it would have been nice to only have to replace those.
