Door lock troubleshooting help please
I recently doscovered that neither of the passenger doors in my 07 LR3 will lock. Driver side doors and tailgate lock fine, but I can open the passenger side doors and the alarm goes off. The rear door does lock from the inside, but not the outside.
Should I assume that the door lock actuators have gone bad in both doors, or is there something that might effect that whole side that’s i should look at first?
Thanks!

I am not able to answer your question, but the link below provides a number of files on how the locking system operates. You have to understand it to even have a chance of getting it back in sync.

From what you have written in your post, I gather that the key fob push buttons work - at least for the two front doors and the tailgate. That is itself is good news as it pretty much suggests the problem is not the key fob or related transmitter or receiver.
What I think is that the rods that operate the lock mechanisms inside the rear doors have gotten mixed up. I presume that you have children as I have heard that somehow kids play with the lock flippers while the vehicle is in motion, (or when parked), and that can somehow confuse the order of operation of the lock internals.
I presume you are aware that the rear doors have a child safely lock out feature. If not, the book tells you how to operate them. Make certain they are set for normal operation and cycle them as well.
Also on the front door, near the four window switch buttons there is a rocker switch that shuts down the power windows; it should not matter but make certain it is set so all the windows work all the time when the engine
is running. In a Land Rover, this type of circuit can be inter related.
With at least the drivers door window down so you do not lock yourself out somehow - (not kidding, this matters), start to play with each of the rear doors, one at a time, cycling the key fob push button and the door flipper while opening and closing the door. (It is easier with that window down as well.) The odds are that eventually you will get all back in sync.
