Driver seat does not recline
Hello all,
Any ideas on why the fuse blows when I try to recline the back of the drivers seat.
It is ok if I move it front to back.
I can't seem to find a good diagram.
I took most of it apart yesterday.
I can see two motors on the bottom and one on the left side that work fine. *they all seem to control the "but" part.
I can't locate the one that works the back.
Also, it will instantly blow the fuse when I try to recline it.
As always, thank you in advance

That is very helpful thank you
Next is to figure out where this driver seat recline motor is located and how to access it.
When I had it mostly apart yesterday I could not find it. (ya ya I know, must be in the back rest section of the seat)
Just not sure how best to get at it.
Anyway with this a least I can follow the colored wires

Update..
Found the way to the motor. (located on the left side bottom of the back section)
Removed seat
Detached at the bottom and pulled the backrest leather from the bottom about 1/3 of the way up.
Unplugged the motor.
Carefully punched the spline out
Changed the motor with a used one that I found online for $39US shipping included.
reassembled.
Note; I saw that the new motor part # for both right (passenger) and left(driver) seats where the same.
Yet the wreckers all seem to think that this motor is side specific.
I used a passenger motor (all I could find) on the driver side..
Other then the dead short in the one I pulled out, they are identical
