Default driver's seat heater not working

any thoughts? I checked all obvious fuses(unless there's one I dont know about) button still works and lights up but nothing happens when it's on. all other seat heaters working

probably needs a new seat heater. the job isn't too bad. you need a t40 with an extension to take the bottom seat out and then you have to remove the seat bottom from the seat leather by removing the parts that are attached to the seat and then cut the hog rings out and remove and install a new pad and then install new hog rings. You will probably need twenty. You can buy them at napa or any dealer. They are called hog rings. You need a hog ring pliers as well to make it easier to install.

thanks for that reply. what exactly are 'hog rings'? do they hold heating element in place? if I go try to find some I just wanna make sure I'm looking for the right thing. Thx!

the heater is glued to the cushion, the seat leather over it is held on with hog rings.

any particular kind of adhesive should be used when isntalling new heating element?
