Checked tfor the flashing ECON button... it sure did. But nothing happened when I cycled the ignition back to ON with the PROG light. I think that means there is a problem with the actuators but it's not a calibration issue..

I'll see what difference I get from the flush and then order the motor if it's still acting up

Keep it plugged in and turn on the hvac and adjust the drivers side temperature. When working, e motor should move that blend door only moves about 90 degrees. I
The default position is for cold air to the drivers side. There is a small post that sticks out of the heater box. That post is connected to the blend door. You can use pliers and turn the post counterclockwise about 90 degrees. It will fall back to the default position when you release it. If you turn the fan on to position three or higher the blend door will remain in the heat position. When the fan is turned off you can hear the blend door fall back to the default position. There is a white plastic piece that is about an inch long. It connects the Servo motor to the post on the heater box. I found it easier to manually flip the blend door using the plastic piece I will try to take some photos for you. Phil
Do you remember what the screws were? Torx, phillips? Thanx, I just want to have what I need before I squeeze myself into the footwell.

Update on the heating issue.

Took the truck into my local shop and they flushed the heater core, noted a bit of sediment, reconnected and refilled with dexi. The owner said they noticed a bit of a difference on temps being hotter on the drivers side but not fixed completely to which we started having the conversation of testing and replacing blend door motors in the near future.

Long story short, took the truck and went for a drive into the city and noticed that the heat was coming out of both sides equally... must have burped the air out of the system as I was driving and is now operating normally. Guess I won't be going down the actuator road just yet. One final note, they did pull three codes related to the blend doors... three of them. They cleared the codes so maybe that had something to do with the fix?

I did the Bbyers procedure a couple of days ago and got the ECON light blinking but nothing blinked on the PROG when the key was cycled again. Maybe just a residual effect of the stored codes?

Good news. Thanks for the update. It is going to dip into the 50s here at night this week. I feel for you. Phil

Default Revive old post: still no heat

Hey guys! I originally had no heat anywhere....even after new heater core, t-stat, and water pump. But I did the reset (I believe by bbyers) and it worked! Super excited! However, now I don't have heat on the driver's side. I removed the stepper motor and manually moved it and I can hear the door shut, and it gets a little less cold, but definitely not hot. I've bled the coolant system several times, so I don't think I have any bubbles, where else with the heat be controlled from? Thanks in advance :-)!
