EAS out-gassing...

Default EAS out-gassing...

This has probably been covered

My '06 exhausts EAS air a couple times a minute after I shut it down. Then when I start it up, even 10 min later, the compressor of course has to run. I don't think my '05 does that.

I don't think there are any air leaks. The tank was recently replaced. Struts are fairly new. F/R valve blocks are fairly new. Any ideas?

Like...intentionally it does it? By that I mean via the exhaust port?

Seems so. Just a little "fart" every 30s or so. I'm not sure how long it goes on, but I observed it for at least 5min.

Mine adjusts once or twice after parking. Which is normal. But it should not do it as often as you say yours is. I can think of only two scenarios. Sensors need a good calibration or there is some sorta leak of the reservoir and valve block that is causing one or more struts to increase in height so the truck has to vent it back down - least likely, but it is something that can happen. I would park it and pay super close attention to any movement upwards and maybe try a full calibration again. I hate calibrations, they take several go arounds to get spot on.

Yeah I calibrated it yesterday....didn't provide immediate help. It probably wasn't my best effort either. I was annoyed and in a rush....and my GAP tool didn't seem as responsive as ever. I had to push the arrows multiple times to raise/lower and it wasn't very responsive. Anyway, I don't know that the LR3 is even moving per se, as it out-gasses. That's a good suggestion. I'll try measuring before/after too. Thanks!

Maybe get a couple strings. Tie a nut at one end, tape then to the body with the nut just touch the ground. Might be easier to see what is going on.
