Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)
HI All I had to recover my wife when the parking brake was stuck (pulled the cable inside the car near the EPB button.
I have since completely replaced all rear brake components (Shoes+springs etc/Disks/Pads) I followed the instruction to the letter to fit them with all torque and process followed for calibration.
Unfortunately I am still stuck with the fault "C1 A53-68 Electronic parking brake latching failure. emergency release has been activated"
Any help would be appreciated.

- I have tried the process of Press Brake 3 times (hold on 3rd) --> Press EPB button UP 4 times --> Press EPB button down 3 times)
- I have also tried the Brake Service options in my Foxwell scanner tool to re-latch etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Have you tried disconnecting the battery and try a hard reset? Here's a link on how to.

If you replaced all the components while it was emergency released, then there is likely your issue. Your cables are likely way too far extended out and the module can not retract them back enough because you have installed/adjusted to the cable position in release position. You may have to release the cables at the brakes so they can retract then readjust.
Did you use an "unjamming: procedure? When you pulled the emergency cable in the console, you released a small clip on the left side of the gear assembly and that separated the two cables from each inside the parking brake module. Normally it can be reconnected with the unjamming procedure from a diagnostic tool like a Gap Tool or the Land Rover T4. it not, you will need to climb up there pull the cover off and reconnect the two parts. If the gears in the module get stripped, you will be removing the unit and repairing the gear set.
IF you do need to remove the module. and this is important. pull a stiff wire along the cable on both sides so you know the proper routing of the cable for installation. If not, you will likely install it three times to get it right (ask me how I know)
