Default EPB error when water got into sunroof

Accidentally had my sunroof open and water got all over the console. It seems everything works except the electronic parking brake.

The light keep flashing. I got a new switch but it has not fixed the error. What should I do?

Check the fuse? Maybe the switch shorted it out. Otherwise need codes so it can really say what the issue is.

There is a connector under the centre console that does not like to get wet

I checked the fuse in the engine bay. No issues is there another one?

the code is u2002-01 which is the switch. Might be the wiring under it

yea I tried the new switch and the old switch in my friends LR3. It looks to be the wiring under the console. Do you have any more info about it? Do I just get a new connector?

Generally, you can dry it out and then use some contact cleaner on it and it normally comes good unless its corroded. Don't forget to clear codes afterwards.

So I check the fuses and all of them seem to be fine.

I thought maybe it was a coincidence and checked the wires from the switch in the rear wheel and none seem to be broken.

I noticed today that it won’t go into low range gear or to access height (lower ride height). The off road height works tho.

Im not too concerned with replacing the center console switches right now but does the EPB have anything to do with them? Since the switch or the wiring that I checked so far are good

I have just made this same error! Left the sun roof open. Did you dry out the connector? Did that work? If not, what happened! Thanks
