2005 V8 LR3

Hello, I need to dig into my dash to replace my evaporator core.
I know a lot of people have switched out heater cores.
How big of a job is dash removal? Is this something I could do in a weekend?
watched a few videos and it looks like a nightmare. Thanks for any advice.

 

Is it because it's clogged so you have no cold air on the driver's side? If so, have you considered trying CLR / flushing out the core?

 

Evaporator core, not heater core HaSIEt.
