The exterior door handle on my driver door stopped working, anyone have a link for a schematic of the inside of the door? Or a good how-to on removing the window and gaining access?

I have the door panel, the exterior handle, and lock cylinder removed, but have not disturbed the window and regulator yet.

See if this helps you, https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic33743.html. I had about a year ago two doors that did not lock at all and replacing the actuator module in the doors fixed that.

 

Thank you, I was able to follow the how to and detach the glass, then move the regulator to the side and gain access to see what was going on inside.

Found a broken cable from the handle at the top of the door down to the latch. Now to see where I can buy a new one!
