I hear someone is working on a conversion kit to add the locker and the wiring needed. I'm not sure I NEED the locker, but it's definitely a strong want.

Just did the oil change, does it matter I used castrol Dino and not the synthetic oil?

the diffs are so finicky and expensive to repair, I wouldn't use anything other than what is recommended. Phil

Sorry I meant Dino oil in the engine

The tcase and diffs used royal purple, they have a cross over chart on the site from the jag/rover fluids to the royal purple fluids

My rear diff already has a noisy pinion bearing

I use Dino in our LR3, that is what the book calls for. I will change it more often than 8000 miles, probably around 4,500. At 8 quarts, it is like a 7/11 Super Big Gulp......Phil

Oh OK the cap said castrol 5w/30 someone above listed the castrol edge which is synthetic and $10 a quart

Well I do figure the 05 was definitely dealer serviced like carfax said, had a land rover filter

I used step its all I could get at the store
