Default Front AC blower not working; rear works fine

Yesterday driving home from work my front AC blower started going in an out. It would work for a minute or 2 then stop working. All the AC control lights are working but it has gone completely out and won't blow any air, hot or cold. The rear air works just fine and blow hot and cold air. I've taken the relay to autozone and checked the fuse for the blower motor and they said both were in working order. In your experience does this mean my resistor is out? From everything I read most people say this is the problem but I've read some other forums with conflicting statements. I have a 2006 land rover LR3 SE w/ V8. 80k miles and bought about 2 months ago, July 2015. I think I can change the resistor myself but don't want to spend $100+ dollars on it if this isn't the problem. Is there a way to tell if my current resistor is bad? Thanks in advance for all your help. This new land rover owner needs all he can get! haha

I'm having the same issue, did you find out what the problem was?
