Default front hub noise

We have a growling noise at all speeds on left front, I am guessing at 75k miles the hubs going now?

If the road curves one direction it goes away can't remember left or right

Gonna pull the wheel today and look, is there a offered bearing to buy I see they are cheap to very expensive on amazon

Only other thing I can think of Tom would be a CV going out.

My experience is to buy hubs with Timken bearings in them. I have gone the cheaper route before but ended up replacing them within a year. This was on my Excursion but the same reasoning would apply for the Landy.

My experience with cv going out is usually a loud clicking or even knock at the shaft end but I will try to check them too as its a possibility I had thought about, not much else there to be making noise

"Growling" sounds like diff bearings, left front is the right side, but turning should not effect it.

Pulled the wheel I see nothing wrong with the bearing no leaking oil or excess movement with the tire on and wheel off ground

I do see my tires getting trashed on the outside and noticed the alignments out again , runs off to shoulder if you let go of wheel , alignment does not hold well on this truck. , so thinking the noise is the tire being chewed up

The question would be why is the tire leaning and getting chewed up

I had to have dealer re align it before, that rear lower ecentrics hard to get to and tighten because of the cat, maybe it moved again on the drivers front wheel

So this noise is slowly getting louder even last low speeds like 10 MPH sounds like I have a bad *** mudd tire on there , straight and turn left road curves left noise is there

Turn right or road curves right noise gone

On the bright side I replaced the brake sensor in back No more chime and lite that was 6 months of hell for a 10$ part and a few minutes labor lol

Not all failed bearings have looseness or play. We often use a mechanic's stethoscope and listed on a hub bolt while the wheel is spun by hand. You will want to compare noise from side to side as a noisy bearing often doesn't sound bad until you compare it to a good one.
