front hub noise

Another thing to add is when checking these, you need to get both front wheels off the ground so you can spin the tires by hand. I had a howl noise I swore was in the rear, but after checking the rear and then the front for good measure, it ended up being the passenger front wheel hub assembly. Barely, if any play, but could definitely tell the bearings were noisy when I was able to spin the tire.

Yeah I rotated the tires and its not the tires so I pulled the trigger on a hub it will be here in a few days and keep y'all posted

Anyone got the torque specs for the bearing and axle and ball joints handy to save me looking them up

if I recall it's German spec...

Here's most specs from my poly bush thread just need the bearing bolt spec

Upper ball joint 52 ft lbs
Lower ball joint 52 ft lbs ?
Tie rod end 52 ft lbs
Lower strut bolt 221 ft lbs
Sway bar link 85 ft lbs
Cv axle 228 ft lbs and stake nut

Looks like wheel hub bolts 85#?

Was pass front hub, was obvious once rotor was off, I could move bearing
Super easy, no more noise, no more pull to right so guess alignments ok

Also found outer pad metal shim between the rotor and dust shield all tore up no idea how that happened

Additional found coolant low and oil, pulled skid plates to find oil filter leaking, changed oil topped coolant for now

So was great day in nice weather, heck even washed her

Tom, I just replaced the passenger hub assembly. Did everything by the book as far as I know. Now there is a low whining sound at speeds over 15mph. Any idea what I should be checking or looking at?
