Fuel Cleaners?

Is there a difference between BG44K and Liqui Molly fuel system cleaner?

Searched and can't find an answer or comparison.

BG44k is considered the gold standard for fuel system cleaners. That doesn't of course mean it's the best objectively, but it is the go to for the people I trust the most.

It’s close to impossible to find any scientific comparisons. That said, I put a can of BG44k in every now and then (around 20k km). 😎👌

Any reason do to the BG44 if I did the Liqui Molly 2 tanks ago?

BG44K is LR approved. That is all I know. I tend to use other products.

If you just put in liquimoly I wouldn’t put in anything else for a while… I mean it’s not candy.

Indeed, there is a TSB where JLR suggests the use of BG 44k for petrol engines in certain situations.
I’ve put BG244k in our diesel Volvo and it did sound better.

Chevron Techron is a great lower cost choice too. Like others said BG44K is tops and don't run another bottle if you already did the Liqui Moly cleaner
