Default GAP Suggestions

Anyone know what the difference is between the 2000.00 GAP Pro and the 500.00 GAP are? I’m assuming the Pro has more features but looking for specifics. Would I need a Pro or is the regular GAP fine? Currently using RSW 4DCan but have a low ignition voltage fault I’m looking to get more information on.....

Its explained on the page from GAP. The Pro is for a shop environment where it can be used across multiple VINs. The regular version is locked to your VIN.

I have a IIDTool BT and it is fine for general use on my 2007 LR3. If you have electrical issues you will find that a decent digital volt meter and perhaps a clamp-on ammeter are very useful for diagnosing troubles. The IIDTool Pro is useful if you are a repair shop and working on more than 1 or 2 vehicles, as it is not tied to the vehicle VIN as the IIDTool BT is...

Not seeing the description but that’s probably due to the fact I’m on the mobile site....??

Look in the GAP IIDTool user manual (pdf download) version 3, on page 17. A description of all differences between tools is there...
