I was wondering how many miles you can you go after the gas light comes on? The computer on my dash says around 34 miles left, how accurate is it? Thanks.

 

Here's the shop manual pages. It appears to me that the light comes on at either 12.5 or 10 liters, depending on where you are looking in the manual (page 14 of attached). Assume the 10 liter figure, that is 2.64 gallons. 12.5 would be 3.34 gallons.

Either way, may want to start filling up sooner. Not uncommon near me in evening to have 50 miles plus between fuel stations that are open. Pushing a Rover is no fun. Fuel pumps don't like to be run with no fluid around them for cooling.
