Compressor is drinkers side outside frame mid truck in a big plastic box( think its driver side)

There is a pointless noise suppression unit mounted on the right side of trans if it shorts it blows a fuse under hood can't remember what fuse maybe 11 or 15, basicly you put in a hi amp fuse and smoke comes out from under car till fuse blows, unplugging unit solves problem do a search

Last time I had to dry a floor I wrang out the carpet and padding , dry that and left a 2x4 under there to hold the carpet up for air circulation

I garuntee you need to dry the harness and repair splices

Pray the sunroof did not dump water on the console and nAV and radio, console switches are super sensitive to wet and if the drains were clogged well it usually floods in when u hit the gas

You bought an LR3 with an active suspension fault (that's been "on" for over 2 years) without even trying to engage the compressor?...and you think you want to rebuild it? You have water ingress issues, too...You basically ignored most of what people on this board advised you to do.

You are about to have a loooong, painful experience with that 22-bound vehicle, man.

I love this forum, I've had Discoverys, a Range Rover and now the LR3 and I learned a ton from people like Tom R who keeps the negative comments to himself and actually gives very helpful and useful advise

I know I took a risk and I have in the past with these cars...its a done deal ..the LR3 is in my driveway and now Im gonna try to fix it.

People like you Tom keep this forum Awesome and needs to be recognized.

Thanks again.

He meant did u get a dealer inspection, answer is obviously no

I am no one man show there's a ton of guys/gals here that are constantly helping other users, most of what I do is re state what I read from others and sometimes I can add my own experience

But everyone gets frustrated when a member asks for advice , is given sound advice and ignores it

If members repeatedly ignore good advice, others stop giving it, this benefits no one

Nothing pisses me off more when I am asked for help and take my time to advise/help and am ignored its a slap in the face, if you are going to do the exact opposite why ask

Not complaining just letting all y'all know where I feel some of us stand, when I ask for help I value every valid response, abran, scouts, erictyrell, shiftonfly, fish eh, savannah buzz are just a few off top of my head that make this place awsome, the rest know who u are

Just food for thought

Op right now your biggest issue is water wet damp everything, dry it all out , this will take a week more more with nice weather or in a garage

There is no way you don't have wire issues on the blue splices in pass rocker area , when everything is bone dry go from there, you can do nothing to diagnose till everything is dry and the harness is dry and splices checked even if you cut off the tape and retape

Until this is done no one can help cause you will get fake faults

Fyi every blue tape splice has 3,4 or more tiny wires going to it
